يحدد هذا الجزء من هذه المواصفة القياسية السورية تقنيات الفحص الشعاعي للوصلات الملحومة بالانصهار في المواد المعدنية باستخدام تقنيات الأفلام التصويرية الصناعية. يتطبق هذا الجزء من هذه المواصفة القياسية السورية على وصلات الألواح والأنابيب. بالإضافة إلى معناها المتعارف عليه ، فإن "الأنبوب" كما هو مستخدم في هذا الجزء من هذه المواصفة القياسية السورية يغطي الأجسام الأسطوانية الأخرى مثل الأنابيب ، وأقلام الحبر ، وبراميل الغلايات ، وأوعية الضغط.
This Part of Syrian National Standard specifies techniques of radiographic examination of fusion welded joints in metallic materials using industrial radiographic film techniques. This Part of Syrian National Standard applies to the joints of plates and pipes. Besides its conventional meaning, “pipe” as used in this part of Syrian National Standard covers other cylindrical bodies such as tubes, penstocks, boiler drums, and pressure vessels.
